My friend and I stayed at the beach Waikiki for our 2 week stay in Honolulu! I had never stayed in a hostel before so didn’t know what to expect but I can honestly say it was the best experience ever!!! The staff are some of the nicest people, so welcoming and helpful and also super fun!! The tours and activities they offer are incredible! We went on a booze cruise with the hostel and it was one of the highlights of my trip!!! The rooms are very spacious with great amenities!

I just have to say, I had the best experience at My Hawaii Hostel. I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay for when I come in the future. I adore the Big Island..... I decided to try this Hostel for 4 nights... Wow! Please know that this hostel is Clean! Very Clean! And the beds are So comfortable! I was really surprised. The pictures are exactly the way it actually looks. The people who work here, and the owner are simply amazing.

First off Aloha Surf Hostel is in a wonderful location since it is only a short walk into Paia. The free tours they offer is amazing (I've certainly never stayed at a hostel that does this) and so very economical for those backpacking. A few other highlights - they have a spacious kitchen, lounge, and enough bathrooms/showers. The private rooms are beautifully decorated with a lovely surfer beach vibe.
